How the New Process Works

Clubs activate Come & Try through their membership setup in JustGo — the same process used to manage other membership categories. Prospective members can then purchase their Come & Try ticket directly through your club.

This approach is ideal when:

• You already know the prospective member and are happy to welcome them into your club.
• You want to give new riders the fastest possible pathway to their first Pony Club experience.
• You prefer to manage the entire process locally, without PCV office involvement.

Alternative: PCV Victoria Direct

Come & Try memberships can still be processed at PCV Victoria Direct level for prospective members who want to try a few different clubs before committing. Please be aware that this pathway takes up to 72 hours to process and no requests will be actioned over weekends or public holidays.

PCV strongly encourages clubs to use the club-level activation process wherever possible. It gives prospective members the fastest and smoothest introduction to Pony Club — and keeps the experience local and personal.

How to Activate Come & Try at Club Level

Step-by-step guide for club secretaries and administrators

Part 1

Activate Come & Try in Your Membership Setup

This step only needs to be completed once. Once Come & Try is active in your membership setup, it will be available for prospective members to purchase.

1. Log in to JustGoGo to justgo.com and sign in with your club administrator credentials. If you do not have admin access, contact the PCV office.

2. Navigate to your club’s Membership SetupFrom the dashboard, select your club, then go to Settings > Membership Setup (or the equivalent menu for managing membership categories).

3. Find or add the Come & Try membership categoryLook for an existing Come & Try category. If one is not already listed, add it as a new membership category using the same process you would for any other category.

4. Confirm the pricing is set correctlyThe $20.00 Come & Try fee (inclusive of the combined PCA and PCV fee) should already be included. Check that the fee is correct and that the PCV and PCA allocations are visible. If anything looks incorrect, contact the PCV office before proceeding.

5. Activate the categoryEnsure the Come & Try category is set to active and visible so that prospective members can find and purchase it.

6. Save your changesThe Come & Try option is now live for your club.

Part 2

Processing a Come & Try Member

Once the category is active, prospective members can purchase directly — or you can assist them through the process.

1. Prospective member selects Come & TryDirect the prospective member to your club’s JustGo membership page. They select Come & Try, complete their details, and pay online.

2. Review and confirm the new memberYou will receive a notification in JustGo when a Come & Try membership has been purchased through your club. Review the member’s details to confirm everything is correct.

3. Welcome them to your clubThe member is now registered and covered to attend your rally or event. Follow your usual process for welcoming new riders and provide them with any relevant club information.
