Central Victoria
Central Zone
One of Victoria’s largest zones, Central Zone encompasses clubs from Melbourne’s western and northern growth corridor through to the Macedon Ranges, including Werribee, Gisborne, and Woodlands.

East Gippsland
East Gippsland Zone
Stretching from the Gippsland Lakes to the NSW border, East Gippsland Zone brings together clubs across a vast region known for its national parks, coastline, and strong equestrian traditions.

Central & North-West Victoria
Midland Zone
Established in 1966, Midland Zone covers the goldfields and Murray plains. It is divided into four geographic sections (A–D) to manage the considerable distances across this large inland zone.

North-East Victoria
North Eastern Zone
Set against the backdrop of the Victorian Alps and High Country, North Eastern Zone comprises 19 clubs across the Hume region. The zone hosted the 2024 PCV State Horse Trials Festival at Finley.

Northern Melbourne
Northern Metropolitan Zone
Serving Melbourne’s northern and north-eastern suburbs, Northern Metropolitan Zone connects young riders in urban and peri-urban areas, with clear pathways from local club rallies through to state-level competition.

Northern Victoria
Northern Zone
Covering the Loddon Mallee and Goulburn Valley, Northern Zone spans Victoria’s productive agricultural heartland. Clubs here have a long tradition of competitive mounted games and dressage excellence.

Southern Melbourne
Southern Metropolitan Zone
Covering Melbourne’s southern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula, Southern Metropolitan Zone hosted the 2023 State Horse Trials Championships at Balnarring and has a strong competition record across all disciplines.

South-West & Western Victoria
Wannon Zone
Taking its name from the Wannon River, this zone spans the Western District and Grampians region from Warrnambool to Horsham. Wannon hosted the 2026 State Showjumping and Dressage Championships.

West Gippsland
West Gippsland Zone
Spanning the Baw Baw plateau to the Bass Coast, West Gippsland Zone serves clubs from Pakenham and Drouin through to Leongatha and Korumburra. Zone colours are Royal Blue with White Trim.
