Club Offerings
Here’s Whittlesea in the same format:
Whittlesea Horse & Pony Club is a small, friendly, and knowledgeable club in the North Metropolitan Zone of Pony Club Victoria, based at the Whittlesea Agricultural Showgrounds on Showgrounds Road. With a welcoming culture and strong facilities inherited from the showgrounds setting, the club offers a genuinely supportive environment for young riders right from their very first led ponies through to competitive riding.
Whittlesea’s real point of difference is how accessible it is for the youngest riders. The club actively welcomes children from four years of age, including those still being led on ponies — an earlier starting point than many clubs comfortably cater for. Riders are then carefully graded and grouped by ability, with instructors matched accordingly, and where possible children are also grouped by age so the social side of the club develops alongside the riding.
The club’s home at the Whittlesea Showgrounds gives members access to excellent facilities, including a large all-weather sand arena, a purpose-built Hickstead-style showjumping arena, a cross country course, a fully fenced grassed area, and ample parking. Whittlesea is a great fit for families in Whittlesea, Humevale, Kinglake, Kinglake West, Mernda, Doreen, Wollert, Beveridge, and the wider northern growth corridor.
