Club Offerings

Warrnambool Pony Club is a friendly, community-focused club in the Wannon Zone of Pony Club Victoria, based at Albert Park on Coulstock Street, Warrnambool. As one of the most established pony clubs in south-west Victoria, Warrnambool has built a strong reputation for competitive events, welcoming rallies, and close ties to the local community and its many supporters.

Warrnambool’s genuine point of difference is its track record as a host of significant state and zone events. Most recently, in February 2026, the club hosted the Pony Club Victoria State Showjumping and Dressage Championships at the Warrnambool Showgrounds on behalf of the Wannon Zone — welcoming riders from every zone across Victoria. The club also runs a long-running annual Combined Training and Dressage event that regularly draws competitors from right across the state, from Ararat through to Werribee, supported by a loyal base of local sponsors.

Another notable feature of Warrnambool is its genuinely inclusive approach to membership. The club is one of relatively few to offer a “Riders Without Horses” option, making Pony Club accessible to children who love horses but don’t own or have regular access to one — an important entry point for families just starting out. Warrnambool is a great fit for families in Warrnambool, Dennington, Allansford, Koroit, Port Fairy, Mortlake, Woolsthorpe, Panmure, Winslow, and the wider south-west.
