Club Offerings

Upper Yarra Pony Club is a fun, community-based educational equestrian club in the North Metropolitan Zone of Pony Club Victoria, based at the Wesburn Park Equestrian Area on the Warburton Highway in Wesburn. Set in the scenic upper Yarra Valley at the foot of the Yarra Ranges, the club welcomes riders under 25 for rallies, clinics, and competition across the full range of pony club disciplines.

Upper Yarra’s real strengths sit in its active event calendar and its grounds. The club runs regular poles and show jumping clinics on its big sand arena, hosts the annual Yarra Valley Horse Show — a highlight in the local equestrian calendar — and anchors the Spring Freshmans Series each October, which has recently expanded to include G-grade show jumping so even the youngest riders can experience jumping a full course in a supportive setting.

The Wesburn Park Equestrian Area is also well-regarded enough that grounds hire bookings from other clubs and organisations come in well in advance — a quiet indication of the quality and versatility of the facility. Upper Yarra is a great fit for families in Wesburn, Warburton, Launching Place, Yarra Junction, Woori Yallock, Millgrove, Powelltown, Seville, Hoddles Creek, and the wider Yarra Ranges.
