The Petstock PCA National Championships for Victorian riders was held in a hub format at the Bacchus Marsh Pony Club Grounds Monday 25th September to 27th September 2023 inclusive.

NSW and Queensland riders made the trek across to Victoria to compete in our Victorian Hub which was great as it gave the riders more of a national’s experience interacting with the other States.

We included a Hub dinner that got everybody together over 2 sittings to enjoy a 2-course meal, mingling and some team presentations.

The Dressage competition was held over three consecutive days, with a test completed each day.

As the riders entered the arena, they were filmed in each test which was then uploaded to a link in WA for future judging. Even riders competing at nationals in WA had their tests recorded so they could all be judged together.

It was great to see full teams for both the Sub juniors and the Junior/Senior combined section and we also had reserves.

I would just like to commend how wonderful the riders and horses were presented, well done.

The results were announced earlier this month and what a great effort with the Victorian Dressage Subjunior team of Ava Irwin, Kathryn Bartlett and Amelia McDougall coming in 3rd Place.

The Junior/Senior combined team of Paris Fielder, Lily Chadd, Jessica Langley, Macey Devlin, Riley Perry Parmenter and Asha Fielder coming in 2nd Place.

I would like to thank PCV staff for their assistance and our organising committee who worked tirelessly to make the event possible.

Also, our wonderful Dressage parents you were the first to offer help and whatever I needed in reference to the Dressage was no trouble thank you for your assistance.
